This Refund Policy applies to all users of Q Codes (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) and governs refunds for our subscription-based QR code generator services.
1. Subscription Fees
All subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your selected plan).
All subscription fees are non-refundable.
Payments are only collected after you actively subscribe. We do not store your payment details during a free trial. You can pay using PayFast’s instant payment options once your subscription begins.
2. Free Trial
Q Codes may offer a free trial that allows you to evaluate paid features before being charged.
No charges are applied during the free trial
No payment details are collected during the free trial
Billing begins only after you choose to subscribe
We do not provide refunds for subscription fees once you have started paying
It is your responsibility to decide whether to subscribe after the free trial ends.
3. Cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard.
Cancellation stops future billing
You will retain access until the end of your current billing period
No refunds or prorated credits are provided for unused time
4. Exceptional Circumstances
Refunds may be considered in exceptional circumstances, such as:
Duplicate charges
Billing errors
Charges made in error
Any refund is issued at the sole discretion of Q Codes.
5. Consumer Protection Act (South Africa)
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or excludes any rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (CPA).
Where a refund is required by the CPA, Q Codes will comply in accordance with South African law.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
